    This area will talk about my grandmother, Betty Brown, and how her passion for the preservation of Appalachian stories and history instilled in me a love and appreciation for the region.

    I could include more information here about how my great great grandmother and grandfather came to Athens county from Missouri to coal mine. Not sure if this would benefit the UX and mission of the project, but it’s a thought.
