dear Appalachia is a multimedia project rooted in the exploration of environmental justice advocacy in Appalachia and, in particular, the Ohio River Valley. Through documentary film, podcasts, photo stories, and articles, dear Appalachia’s goal is to preserve the rich history of the region and share the stories of Appalachian women fighting for environmental justice.
